Below you will find important information about graduating senior priority (GSP), spring quarter course offerings and registration tips.

Are you planning to graduate this coming spring, summer or autumn quarter? If you are and have not yet applied for graduation, visit math.washington.edu/graduation-commencement-information<https://math.washington.edu/graduation-commencement-information> . To register on Friday, FEB 14 with Graduating Senior Priroty (GSP)<https://registrar.washington.edu/academic-calendar/pi-reg-dates-spring-2025/>, eligible students must email their graduation application request to our office no later than 3pm, Friday, FEB 7.

MATH MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

MATH 301 – Elementary Number Theory is open to all Math majors who have completed MATH 300 with a 2.0 or higher grade.

MATH 327 - Real Analysis: Required for BS Math majors and recommended for students who plan to take advanced math courses (i.e. 408, 424, 427, 441)

MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores

Period I MATH & ACMS majors
Period II / III Open to all majors

MATH 398B - WDRP (Washington Directed Reading Program; applications will open in early March. https://sites.uw.edu/wdrp/

MATH 399A - WXML (Washington eXperimental Mathematics Lab); applications will open in mid-March. http://wxml.math.washington.edu/

MATH 407 / 408 - Linear / Nonlinear Optimization
