Dear colleagues,
If you're interested in e-government research, especially the internal dynamics that hinder or foster the digital transformation of public organizations, we’re happy to invite you to submit your latest research to our track “Managing e-Government” of this year’s EGOV-CeDEM-ePart conference in Athens, Greece.
Please find the full track description here: https://dgsociety.org/egov-2026/conference-tracks/
Submission Deadline: 16 March
Conference Dates: 30 August – 3 September

The track focuses explicitly on the internal challenges and solution approaches for implementing and managing e-Government in temporary projects or under more permanent organizational forms. It emphasizes the development of e-government competencies among operational and leadership staff, the formulation of effective strategies to navigate change and transformation processes, organizational innovation due to technological advancements, and the establishment of sustainable and participatory approaches to successfully steer e-government efforts at the organizational level.
 Topics of interest include:
* Internal organizational change and strategic realignment within public organizations * Enhancing e-government competences of the workforce and leadership staff * Organizational cultural shifts due to technological advancements  * Participative and co-creative stakeholder engagement * Risks associated with the dependency on external competencies (e.g., consultancies)

Full papers will be published in Springer’s LNCS series.
Beyond the paper sessions, the conference offers several cool opportunities, such as
* a PhD colloquium to facilitate doctoral students finding their way into the community and receive feedback on their projects,    * a Junior Faculty School to support career-building efforts of young scholars, * Special Issues for selected submissions in Government Information Quarterly and the eJournal of eDemocracy and Open Government.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out! Otherwise, we’re looking forward to your submissions and to a great conference in Athens with you!
