New Division of Hematology/Oncology
Building on the transformative energy of the recent restructure of our adult oncology program and formation of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, we are uniting our two current academic divisions of Hematology and Medical Oncology to form a joint Hematology/Oncology Division at UW. To continue the synergy and alignment between UW Medicine and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, a new role will be created for an individual to serve both as head of this new division, reporting to the UW Chair of Medicine, and as a senior vice president at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, reporting to the Hutch’s President and Director.

Learn more and get answers to some frequently asked questions on our intranet<https://intranet.medicine.uw.edu/resources/hem-onc-division-faqs>.
