ACMS would like to create a student council to help advise the undergraduate program and to be ambassadors for professional activities. We are looking for a small number of dedicated students to create the first council in the Autumn 2025. Students must be
enrolled through Spring 2026 to be eligible.<br>
<br>
There are two primary tasks the council will help with:<br>
- Ambassadors: attend various outreach and recruitment events ({which occur sometimes on evenings or weekends) to help answer prospective student questions about ACMS. <br>
- Career and Networking activities: help give input, advertise and coordinate speakers for the Optimal Trajectories series. This series of talks are informal chats with former math majors -- guests arrive excited to answer questions, give advice and connect
with students.<br>
