Below you will find important information about graduating senior priority (GSP), winter quarter course offerings, and registration tips.



Are you planning to graduate summer quarter 2025 or sooner?  If you are and have not yet applied for graduation, visit https://acms.washington.edu/graduation. To register with GSP on Friday, NOV 1st, eligible students must email their graduation application request to our office no later than Thursday, October 24th.

ACMS MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:


STAT 391 - Quantitative Intro. Statistics for Data Science

  *
DSS option students this course is needed for other STAT courses
  *
offered WINTER QTR 2025 only; not offered SPRING 2025
  *   T/TH 1:00pm to 2:20pm; not M/W/F


CFRM 410 A - Prob. and Statistics for Computational Finance:  During period I registration, section A is only for students in AMATH and  ACMS - MEQF


CFRM 425 B - R Programming for Quantitative Finance: Section B is only for students in ACMS - MEQF


MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling: TIP! Register during period I, will fill quickly during period II.


Period I    MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores only

Period II    Open to all majors; Seniors, Juniors only      
Period III   MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors only


MATH 407/409 - Optimization: Enrollment will likely fill with.


Math 407 - MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors only
Registration period II & III - MATH 407 will only be open to seniors, but to all majors.

Math 409 - MATH, ACMS majors only; Seniors, Juniors only

Registration period II & III - MATH 409 will only be open to seniors, but to all majors.


Planning Tip:  If you plan to take MATH 408 during spring quarter 2025, you must complete both MATH 327 or MATH 334 & MATH 407 or MATH 464.
