Hello ACMS Majors,

Below you will find important information about graduating senior priority (GSP) and spring quarter course offerings and registration tips.

Are you planning to graduate this coming spring, summer or autumn quarter 2023? If you are and have not yet applied for graduation, visit acms.washington.edu/graduation<https://acms.washington.edu/graduation> . To register on Friday, FEB 10th with GSP, eligible students must email their graduation application request to our office no later than 4pm, Monday, February 6, 2023.

ACMS MAJOR REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

ACMS Data Science & Statistics Majors: STAT 391 – Intro. Statistics for Data Science; continue to check course link, https://bit.ly/3wjo7zf (updates pending), for registration information.

ACMS MEQF Majors: Register for CFRM 415B; CFRM 415A (jointly offer with section B) will be restricted to CFRM majors only during the initial registration.


MATH 282 - Exploring Opportunities in Mathematical Sciences; CR/NC ACMS major seminar course

STAT 390 - Probability I; although this course is offered every quarter, we encourage students to take this cousre their junior year as it may be difficult to complete with a full senior schedule.

MATH/STAT 395 - Probability II; this course might be offered again B-term summer quarter, however it will not be offered autumn quarter 2023.

MATH 381 - Discrete Mathematical Modeling   We strongly encourage ACMS majors to take the course as soon as they are able. Students who wait until their last two quarters to take this course may unfortunately encounter time conflicts. Please be aware that there are no course substitutions for MATH 381.
