[Acmsmajors] FEB 23 & 24 Math Across Campus Event

Dear students,

Professor Golden will be visiting our department for our MathAcrossCampus event on February 23-24. He is a very exciting mathematician, speaker, explorator and specialist of sea ice. The main talk will be on February 24th, 3:30-4:30 in ECE 125, see PDF attachment.

As part of this event, we will hold an informal meeting session between Professor Golden and our majors, Thursday, February 23 from 3:30 to 4:30, THO 234<https://www.washington.edu/classroom/THO> . Professor Golden will probably discuss such as his mathematics career, arctic explorations and non-technical aspects of his main talk.
