[Acmsmajors] 2022 Oregon Bioengineering Symposium

I’m emailing to let you know that the fourth annual Oregon Bioengineering
Symposium <https://blogs.oregonstate.edu/bioengineering/> will be held on
October 6, 2022 at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Last time
this event was held in person (in 2019), it attracted over 200 participants
from across Oregon and the surrounding region. It is a great opportunity to
learn about exciting new research and to make connections with potential
collaborators.



Abstract submission is now open. To be considered for a *trainee lightning
talk* abstracts must be submitted by *July 31, 2022*. The submission
deadline to be considered for a student* poster presentation* is *August
15, 2022*. Students and post-docs in bioengineering or related fields are
encouraged to submit an abstract. There will be awards for the best student
presentations.



It would be great if you could share this with students in your program who
might be interested.
